Stop the Ads of Cows Grazing in Fields
Images of happy animals are just marketing. In Spain, 80% of animals are raised on factory farms — cramped, injured, and surrounded by filth. And eventually, the meat industry kills all animals, including cows and chickens.
We demand supermarkets remove ads that perpetuate these lies.
End “Animal Welfare” Labels
Supermarkets force their farms and slaughterhouses to buy the “Animal Welfare” label. Imagine your teacher getting paid more the more students she passes — that’s how these certifiers work. Let’s be honest, animal welfare is a sham.
We demand the removal of animal welfare labels funded by and for the meat industry.
Active Promotion of Plant-Based Diets
Only 2 out of 10 ads promote fruits, vegetables, or nuts. While the planet collapses, supermarkets keep pushing diets based on animal exploitation. Meanwhile, in Germany, the UK, and the Netherlands, major supermarkets have implemented specific policies to increase the ratio of plant-based protein they sell.
It’s crucial for supermarkets to publicly commit to increasing their plant-based protein range and stop perpetuating animal exploitation.
